Orange Simmer Pot

Ingredients:

  • orange slices
  • orange peels
  • ginger
  • whole cloves
  • two cinnamon sticks

Directions:

For this, you can use orange peels or orange slices along with fresh ginger, whole cloves, and two cinnamon sticks. Put these all into your pot, then add enough water. Bring this to a boil, then once it’s boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer. Keep an eye on it and add water as needed. You can keep this on the stove all day and use it for up to two days.

Apple Cinnamon Simmer Pot

Ingredients:

  • apple slices
  • apple peels
  • ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • whole star anise
  • ground nutmeg
  • vanilla extract

Directions:

To your pot, add freshly sliced apples, fresh ginger, two cinnamon sticks, some whole star anise, some ground nutmeg, and real vanilla extract. Pour enough water on it, and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, turn down the heat to low, and let it simmer. You can keep it throughout the day and once the water reduces, just add some more as needed.
