After this, add the beans, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 2 1/2 – 4 cups of vegetable or chicken broth, and 2 bay leaves.

Mix well, then cover the saucepan and reduce the heat to low. Simmer it for 15 minutes. After this, remove the bay leaves, roughly blend some of them, and then mix in the chopped kale. Serve and enjoy!
