This recipe by Leigh Anne Wilkes on YouTube is the perfect dessert to make at the last minute or when you’re in a hurry. You can also make this in a larger serving by doubling the ingredients so that you can share it with your whole family. It’s so simple yet so good that I’m sure both kids and adults alike will have a hard time saying no to this delightful dish. You will only need a few simple ingredients to make this, most of which you might already have available in your kitchen. Learn how now, then give it a try, and see for yourself!
Step 1
Peel and slice the apples into ¼-inch thick pieces, then place them in a clean bowl, and squeeze lemon juice over them. Give them a good toss to combine and then set them aside. In a food processor or blender, add the flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, then pulse them until combined, add in the butter one at a time, and pulse in between additions until incorporated and the texture becomes like wet sand.

Step 2
In a small baking dish, spread half a portion of the apples at the bottom, then sprinkle half a portion of the crumble mixture all over the top, and repeat the layers with the remaining portions. Place them in a preheated oven at 375°F, then allow them to bake for about 20 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown. Allow it to cool down for about 5 minutes, then serve, and enjoy!
