Start by cutting the egg carton in rows, then by piece using a blade and scissors. Once done, cut all long corners, then cut into 4 without going through the center to make the flower. Curve each of the petals. Do the same for the remaining pieces.
Get one piece of the flower and press the petals outward. Get one of the petals and roll it – add glue to secure it in place. Add glue to the bottom half of the other petals and wrap around the rolled petal. Take another flower and attach it to the rose by adding glue to the bottom half. Get one more and do the same process but make sure they are not aligned. Repeat two more times. Just make sure that the opening for each one is different. Make 8 more pieces of this rose.
Get one of the green pieces and cut it into 4 to make a flower. Cut each petal into 3 pointy leaves. Make one for each of the roses.
Glue the leaves on the bottom of the roses.
Cover the bottom of the box with the green felt paper. Measure the sides and cut the black felt paper with that measurement but make sure to add an allowance. Glue the black felt paper on the sides. It should pass the bottom of the box.
Glue the flowers on the green part of the box with 3 rows and 3 columns.
Wrap the ribbon around the box, and it’s done.
