This clever mask repurposing technique makes your bathroom smell fresh on a budget because you don’t need to buy expensive products from the store and instead you’ll be using only a single mask and a small lemon. This is the only toilet trick I’ll be trying from now on. Materials:
- Surgical mask
- Scissors
- Lemon
- Knife
Directions:
Step 1
The first thing that you have to do is to cut off one shorter side of the mask about half an inch from the edge, then cut off the elastic band for the ear from the cut-off piece, and set it aside for later. Next, slice the lemon into quarters, then open the mask on the side to create a pocket, and place the sliced lemons inside.

Step 2
Take the elastic band you cut off and set aside earlier, then use it to tie and close the mask pocket tightly and securely. Hang this inside the toilet tank using the elastic on the other side of the mask, this will make your toilet smell fresh at every flush.
