Clever Dishwasher Hat Cleaning Hack

Got some dirty hats that badly need to be cleaned but are not in the mood to wash them at all? Why not try to put them in your dishwasher and wash them with little to no effort at all? This clever trick by DIY JIM on YouTube will save you some time because you can wash your dishes together with it, too! This will also make sure that your hat will not be destroyed or deformed, they will come out clean and with their shape intact. Now, you don’t need to worry about cleaning your hats or if you need to wear them by the next day because you can easily toss them in the dishwasher, let them dry, and come back tomorrow to wear them. Materials:
- Hat
- Soap
- Dishwasher

- Large bowl

Simply place your hats on the rack of your dishwasher, then add the soap to the soap container, and wash them in the cycle that you usually would use with your dishes. In the video, he washed his hats including the dishes for about 2½ hours. Once done washing, check your hats to see if they are completely clean or if they still have some leftover white marks, if that is the case, then grab a sponge, wet it, and scrub the white marks on your hat until they are gone. Place your hat on top of an upside-down bowl or similar object so that your hat can keep its shape while it dries. After drying completely, your hats are now ready to use.
