Everyone loves KFC because their chicken is just out of this world! So if you love KFC like me, you will also love this homemade KFC hot chicken wings from TWO FORKS on Youtube. I’m telling you, this is the best homemade recipe you’ll ever have. It’s crispy yet juicy, and the taste is just like the ones from KFC. Watch the video below to learn the full recipe.
Cut the chicken wings into three, then place them in a bowl for marinating. In a small bowl, combine 200ml water, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp dried and ground ginger, 2 tbsp red pepper, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, and 1 – 2 tsp ground chili powder. Mix well. Pour this marinade over the chicken wings. Cover with cling film and put away in a cool place for 24 hours. In another bowl, combine 3 cups of wheat flour, 2 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp salt, and ground hot chili pepper to taste (to make the wings hot like in KFC, add 2 – 3 tsp.) Mix well. Roll all the marinated chicken wings into the flour mixture thoroughly, making sure they are all well-coated.

After coating the chicken wings with the flour mixture, transfer them to a colander and shake well to remove excess breading. After this, dip the wings (while still in the colander) in the water and wait for the bubbles to come out. Shake it after and roll it again in the flour mixture. Next, heat 34 – 50 oz vegetable oil in a pot over high heat, then add wings one by one. Cook the wings over medium heat for 8 – 10 minutes. After this, transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve.
