Ice cubes are widely used to make the skin fresh every morning. Surprisingly, they’re also effective in a battle with post-acne problems as well. They reduce acne scars’ redness and fade dark spots. Try this method: put ice cubes in a clean cloth and gently rub the scars with it for about 10 to 15 minutes. Do this every morning for a couple of weeks. You could also try freezing green tea and to make it even better, throw in some tea tree oil. In an ice tray, add about 3 drops of tea tree oil to each section of it, and then add an already boiled green tea.
Egg whites can remove dead skin cells and kills acne bacteria. Try this recipe: whip the whites of an egg in a bowl and simply apply them to the problem areas – simple as that. Leave it for some time to let it dry, then rinse it off. Repeat twice a week. (Don’t forget that if you’re allergic to eggs, this option is not for you.)
Put cucumber slices directly on the acne scars and spots and lay down for about 30 minutes, then rinse off the face and apply moisturizer. Repeat this 2 – 3 times a week.
You can use lemon juice on its own by applying it on the spot or even on the pimple to dry them out quicker. You can also combine it with water in equal proportion and apply it directly to the spots. Wait for about 10 – 15 minutes then wash it off. Don’t forget to use a moisturizer. Repeat 2 to 3 times a week. Another recipe you can try is 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of honey, 1 & 1/2 tbsp of sugar, and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Mix it and gently apply it to the skin, (don’t rub it in too much.) then rinse it off. Do this twice a week.

Baking soda can make the skin fresh by removing dead skin cells and is a big helper in battling post-acne scars. Try this recipe: mix 1 tsp of baking soda with a bit of water so it’ll make a paste. Apply this paste to the affected area for about 1 or 2 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat 2 or 3 times a week.
With a lot of health benefits, apple cider vinegar can also remove those acne scars. Try this recipe: mix water and apple cider vinegar in equal proportions and use a cotton ball to apply it to the affected areas. Leave it for about ten minutes, then wash your face and apply moisturizer. Another recipe you can try is to mix 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar, nearly 3 cups of water, and some honey. Again, use a cotton ball to apply it to the acne scars. Wait for about 30 minutes then rinse your face. (Repeat twice a week.)
Olive oil helps the skin heal quicker from acne. It possesses anti-inflammatory properties that nourish the skin and allows it to heal. Try this recipe: 1 tsp of olive oil plus 1 tbsp of sugar. Mix them, massage the skin, then rinse your face with water. This will improve your skin’s texture and overall state. (Do it twice a week.) Another recipe you can try is 2 tbsp of pulverized sea salt and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Massage the scrub into the skin in circular movements and then rinse your face. (Repeat twice a week.)
