Do you love fashion and recycling things? Then I’m sure you will love this DIY fabric bracelet from Red Blossom Designs on Youtube. We all know plastic bottles take 450 years to break down, so why not recycle them into something we like – like this fabric bracelet. This unique bracelet is made out of a plastic bottle and some scrap fabrics, but the quality is superb! Learn to make these by watching the tutorial below.
First, make two templates of 3 cm width on a paper. Wrap one template around your hand and measure how long you need. Cut the excess. (Cut the other template also with this measurement.) Trace out the two templates in an interfacing fabric, then cut it out. Get the fabric (of your choice), place the interfacing fabric on the wrong side of the fabric, then iron it. Fold the edges and continue to iron them. Cut the excess part on both ends, then fold the fabric in half, with the wrong side facing out. Draw a line on the edges, then sew this line on the sewing machine. After this, cut the excess fabric. Turn the fabric inside out, then iron it.

Check if the template and the fabric have the same width, if not, mark the template and cut it according to the measurement of the fabric. (Make sure that you can slide the template inside the fabric.) Next, wrap the template around the plastic bottle, trace it out using a pen, then cut this part. Slide the plastic inside the fabric, and connect the two ends by sliding the excess plastic through each end of the fabric, then sew to lock the bracelet.
