Heads up, sewing ladies! For today’s fun and adorable sewing project, DIYlover via YouTube will show us how to turn an old shirt or any fabric into a super cute owl pillow easily.
Step 1
First, search for the owl pattern that you want to form on the internet, then trace and follow its shape onto paper. Cut it out, then fold your pattern in half and make sure to cut any unevenness so that your design stays symmetric. Prepare an old shirt or any kind of fabric you want, then trace the outline of your pillow pattern to the fabric. Draw about ½ inch seam allowance around the outline, make two pieces of this, and then cut them out.

Step 2
Stack them together with their right sides facing each other and pin them all around in place. Then, sew or glue them carefully following the most outer line and remember to leave a little gap at the bottom part for turning later. Once you’re done gluing or sewing them together, use the gap to turn the pillow inside out and stuff it with any pillow stuffing. Then, stitch the gap close.
Step 3
Use the previous paper pattern to draw a wing onto its body, cut it out, and trace it on a sheet of felt. Flip the pattern over to trace the other wing, cut them out, and make sure they fit before you start gluing them onto the pillow with some fabric glue. Cut two circular white felt pieces for the eyeballs, and a small orange triangle for the beak. For the eyes, you can use some black rhinestones or beads, but you can cut a piece of black felt if you want.
