The countdown till Christmas is fast approaching. Sweet snacks are a must in every fridge to keep up with the festive feelings. I came across this easy no-bake cookie truffle recipe by Baker Girl Steph on YouTube by chance, and let me tell you, it tastes like the North Pole in every crunch!Live back in the memory of your childhood… waking up on Christmas morning tasting sweet treats while opening Santa’s gifts straight from the North Pole. Nostalgic in a way, like being hugged on Christmas morning surrounded by loved ones.
Ingredients:
Buttercream frosting
Directions:
Prepare all the ingredients and materials needed. Place the sugar cookies in your food processor to turn them into crumbs. As an alternative, place the sugar cookies in a plastic bag and break them up with a rolling pin. Pour the sugar crumbs into a big bowl and add the almond extract. Squeeze out some frosting and blend well with a hand mixer. As you go, add more frosting until it all holds together.
Use your hand to test and feel the dough to see if it’s ready. With an ice cream scooper, scoop in some dough and make it into circles. Place it on a quarter-sheet pan and refrigerate it; let it cool.
Once chilled, dip the dough in candy melts, milk chocolate, or any other dip you like. Put it back in the quarter sheet pan with a fork. For decorations, use edible decorations as much as you like.
When you’re done, let it cool or eat it as it is. Enjoy every crunch. Make sure to share with your loved ones. Anything this sweet and delicious is worth sharing.
