Easy to Make DIY Yarn Birds

Then this tutorial is for you, it only takes a few minutes to make, just needs colored yarns, and is pretty cheap. You can use it as a décor to your home or include it in your gift this holiday, it also serves as a great hobby during the lockdown, whatever you want it to be will surely work because nobody can say no to this cute little fellas. Materials:

• Yarn (blue, white, yellow, orange)
• 9x12cm Hard paper
• Beads
• Glue
• A pair of scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Roll the white yarn on the hard paper vertically 50 times and cut the bottom center. Repeat the process on the blue yarn. The yellow yarn should be rolled horizontally 50 times and then cut at the bottom too. Tie the white yarn at the center before laying the blue yarn over in a criss-cross manner, join the ends of both sides of each color then tie close to the middle.

Step 2

Fold the yellow yarn over the center of the blue and white yarn, keep yellow away and join the blue and white together then tie it securely with a string. Take both sides of the yellow yarn and fold it over the top of the two colored yarns, then tie it in the middle. Cut the sides and shape it into the body of the bird. Take a string of orange yarn, fold and join the ends together before tying it over a few times until you form a small piece of the beak for the bird, attach using glue then add 2 black beads for its eyes.
