I’ve always loved hosting Thanksgiving dinners. My friends and family told me they look forward to what kind of dishes I will serve every year. Since  Thanksgiving is around the corner, I’m thinking of making really to-die-for dinner rolls that I can serve along with other dishes. I found this best ever dinner rolls recipe on Youtube by Chriscook4u2. I tried doing it, and boy, it didn’t disappoint. It’s quick and easy and Chriscook4u2 says all the ingredients can be found in Walmart. That means you don’t have to look far indeed.

Ingredients:

  • 2 small packets of active dry yeast
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1/3 sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 stick of softened buter
  • 1 cup hot milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Directions:

In this very detailed tutorial, Chriscook4u2 tells you that every ingredient in this recipe won’t go to waste. First you start pouring half of a cup of warm water into the mixing bowl, then add two containers of active dry yeast, then stir until everything dissolves. Then add the milk and using a mixer or just your hands, mix everything again. The rest of the steps in the tutorial are easy to follow.

Once you’ve kneaded and cut your dough and formed them into balls, you put them in a baking pan and pop it into the oven. Make sure you preheated your oven at 375 degrees. After 30 minutes or so, you take out the baked rolls. They might appear white so you have to smear butter on the top then pop it in the oven again for about 18 minutes. Once they’re baked, you’ll get a really nice looking set of rolls. To make them glisten make sure to saturate them with lots of butter.

This is such a good recipe for Thanksgiving dinner. And like I said, it really won’t disappoint.
