If you have never used Bar Keeper’s Friend, you really need to try it. It has been my favorite cleaner for years. I was so excited to find this video by Clean My Space, on YouTube, because she has done some really cool research and has brought up so many awesome historical facts about Bar Keeper’s Friend, and also explains different ways to use it. I discovered Bar Keeper’s friend when a friend suggested that I use it to clean a vintage brass belt buckle that I bought at a flea market in Kyle, Texas. I used the cream scrub and it shined my belt buckle so well, it was nearly black, and it turned shiny gold without using any elbow grease at all. Turns out the active ingredient in Barkeeper’s Friend is oxalic acid, and that is the reason it is so efficient at cleaning multi surfaces. The other mind-blowing fact about this amazing cleaner is the fact that it was made by a chemist in 1882, ad the same formula is still being used today! Bar Keeper’s Friend works amazingly well for ceramic, copper, brass, porcelain, fiberglass, Corion, chrome, aluminum, and will even buff out knife marks on ceramic plates!

Here is one example of one of the many uses of Bar Keeper’s Friend in the kitchen. You can just sprinkle a bit of powder on the oven door and scrub. This product is amazing!
