There are a lot of laundry hacks on the internet, but these hacks from Sharrah Stevens on Youtube are absolutely brilliant! I know you may hear some of these already, but coming from someone that already tried them, I’m telling you, these are effective and reliable. Watch the video below to learn the following.

#2 Use Dawn Soap for Stains

When you have stains in your clothes, just put a little bit of Dawn dishwashing soap to remove any stain of any kind. Just let it sit for a little while, then wash it like you normally would. This also works on the couch.

#3 Use a Sock Dock

Open it up and put a pair of socks in between, then tighten it so it’s secured. This way, your socks will never go missing when put in the washer or dryer.

#4 Place Delicates in a Washing Bag

Put your delicates, like a bra and the like, into a washing bag. This will help your items keep their shape.

#5 Air Dry Delicate Items

Any items that you don’t want to shrink, like your delicates, should be air-dried rather than put in a dryer.

#6 Prevent Pilling

One preventative tip is to put your yoga pants inside out before you put them in the washer or in the dryer. But in the event that pills do pill up, use a pilling device.

#7 Use Wool Dryer Balls

Get your dryer balls and put two to three drops of essential oils on them. Put them in the dryer to make your laundry smell good. These wool balls will also put air between your clothes making sure they’re getting the right amount of heat.
