A cluttered kitchen is one of my pet peeves, which is why I’m always looking for ways to make things easier for me, especially now that I’m a mom. One of the best tips I’ve learned on Youtube is from Joshua Becker. I’m telling you, these tips made my life easier, and they are effective as well! I have incorporated them into my usual routine, and it just took me a few days to make them a habit. Now, my kitchen is always looking nice and clean, with no more clutter in sight! Watch the video below and learn the following.
Clutter starts when you have too much stuff in one small space and this usually happens in your kitchen. First, start organizing your kitchen stuff by removing everything from the cabinets and drawers. Second, relocate everything that doesn’t belong in the kitchen.
Now, after removing all the stuff from the cabinets and drawers, start finding proper space for them all. This is a vital step toward any home re-organization.
Leaving things out in the open because you think it’s more convenient when in reality – it doesn’t. Doing this makes extra work actually because you have to move them every time you clean, and they take up space when you’re trying to cook.
Leaving things out in the open, including your daily use appliances, starts the clutter in your kitchen. These appliances sit out on your counter way more than you use them. For example, you would only use a toaster for, let’s say, three minutes, then it will just sit for the rest of the day.
Put things away when you’re done, wash plates right away, and don’t leave out things out on your countertops. Lastly, reset your kitchen every single evening.
