I’ve also used these for adult game parties as well the go great with beer. They are also good for and after-party, throw together buffet before everyone drives home. There are several visually pleasing, tastebud tantalizing ideas here, one is the gorgeous hot dog flower.

Then there’s the wonderful Hot Dog Muffins, I served these for breakfast the morning after my Daughter’s slumber Party and everyone went wild over them! I ended up making 6 batches, lol!

Ingredients And Directions:

Hot Dog Flower (for 3)

  • ready-made pizza dough
  • 3 hot dogs
  • 1 egg

Here’s How: 1.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Completely roll each hot dog in pizza dough and seal the ends. 1.2 Make 6 deep incisions in each wrapped hot dog. 1.3 Now form the hot dog roll into a circle. Fold the two end pieces over one another and push the second to last piece into the middle.  1.4 Beat the egg, brush it over the dough, and bake for 15 minutes.

 Tornado Dog (for 3)

  • 3 hot dogs
  • 3 long wooden skewers
  • ready-made pizza dough

Here’s How: 2.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and skewer each hot dog. 2.2 Cut the hot dogs at an angle, turning the skewer so that the cut becomes spiral. 2.3 Now carefully slide the hot dogs apart, spreading the meat over the skewer. 2.4 Cut the pizza dough into 3 thin strips and roll them out to the length of the skewers. 2.5 Wrap the dough strips around the spiral hot dogs and bake for 15 minutes.

Hasselback Hot Dogs (for 2)

  • 2 long wooden skewers
  • 2 hot dogs –
  • ready-made pizza dough
  • ketchup

Here’s How: 3.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the hot dogs between two wooden skewers and cut them as shown in the video. The skewers will prevent the knife from cutting all the way through. 3.2 Place each Hasselback hot dog on a piece of pizza dough and cut out an oval shape around the hot dog. 3.3 Now flip the pizza dough up around the sides of the hot dog, brush ketchup over the top, and bake for 15 minutes.

Mini Hot Dog Muffins (for 6)

  • 2 hot dogs
  • ready-made pizza dough
  • 1 egg

Here’s How: 4.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut off the ends of the hot dogs and then cut each hot dog into 3 equal pieces. 4.2 Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal pieces and form them into circles. Use a small shot glass (or something that’s about the same diameter as the hot dog) to cut out the center of the dough. 4.3 Stick a hot dog piece through each dough hole and place the muffins in a greased muffin pan. Beat the egg, brush it over the dough, and bake for 15 minutes. No matter which hot dog you choose, be sure to serve them with ketchup and mustard for a true dipping experience!
