Ingredients:

  • 2 & 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup fine sugar

Directions:

Step 1

In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. (Gradually add the sugar while beating.) After this, add the all-purpose flour and continue to beat until the mixture has a crumbly consistency. Transfer the mixture to your working surface and work on it until dough forms. Once it forms, shape it into a long rectangular prism. Sprinkle some sugar on wax paper and roll the dough on it.

Step 2

Cover the dough in a cling wrap and freeze or refrigerate for about 30 minutes until set. After this, slice the dough into cookie pieces, about 1  cm apart in thickness. Place them in a baking tray and bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
