At first I was shocked too when I found out that you can make biscuits only using 3 household ingredients. Now, I never eat store bought biscuits when I can enjoy the taste of homemade ones for way less money. I can not stress how much I love this recipe as I now make biscuits nearly once a week because they are so easy to make.

When I was young, I used to go to my grandmothers house for a month every summer. I can still remember waking up to the distinct smell of warm butter wafting through the house every Sunday morning. I would run down the stairs to find my grandma in the kitchen and a large batch of biscuits on the table, served with honey and jam. After I ate my fill, I would always offer to help make the next batch with her. Until recently, I hadn’t had the taste of a homemade biscuit for years, but when I found this recipe I decided to make biscuits the following Sunday morning for my family.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of self rising flour
  • 1/3 cup of 2% milk
  • 3 tablespoons of salted butter

Step One:

Begin by mixing your ingredients together in a large bowl. Make sure to mix until all of the butter has melted into the flour and milk.
