I got super excited when I watched this tutorial on painting furniture with Chalk Paint! I know you will too!  There are  two  short videos, so be sure and watch both of them. This technique gives you the same lovely look as Restoration Hardware for a lot less money!  The point is to have fun with this, so you don’t have to abide by rules. Just PLAY, PLAY PLAY!

I find myself wanting to copy everything she’s done in her home!  It looks so elegant and refined.  Refinishing with chalk paint is such a fabulous look, so you’ll be tempted to redo everything in your home too.

She uses Annie Sloan Chalk paint, an oval brush…she uses an Annie Sloan oval brush and says that it’s a lot easier easier to control with an oval brush, rather than a smaller brush and water. She rips up one of her husband’s old t-shirts, which he loves!
