Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lump crab
  • 6 jumbo shrimp, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs

Tammy’s cajun butter lemon sauce:

  • melted butter
  • old bay
  • cajun seasoning
  • smoked paprika
  • lemon juice

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Next, to a large bowl, add 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 egg, 1/4 tsp old bay seasoning, cajun seasoning, and juice of half a lemon. Mix well, then add the lump crab meat. Toss gently so the crab meat won’t break down, then fold in the halved shrimp pieces. After this, add 2 tbsp breadcrumbs and mix.

Step 2

Now, mold your mixture into patties and place them on your prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process until you finished the mixture. Sprinkle some smoked paprika on each top as well as some parsley. After this, place them in the preheated 400 degrees F oven for fifteen minutes, then turn on the broiler for about two minutes to brown the top of the crabcakes. While waiting, make the lemon sauce. Combine some melted butter, old bay seasoning, cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and fresh lemon juice in a small bowl and mix well. Brush this on the crabcakes after baking. Serve and enjoy.
