Easy Chocolate Sorbet Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups of water
  • 3/4 cups of unsweetened cocoa powder (sifted)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of coffee

Note: if you don’t want to add the coffee, just add a little water

 

How to Make Chocolate Sorbet

Step 1:

In a medium saucepan, add 1 1/2 cups of water, 3/4 cups of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup of sugar, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2:

Place over medium-high heat and keep whisking until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat.

Step 3:

Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir until melted.

Step 4:

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/4 cup of coffee, and 1 cup of water. Stir until well combined. Let it cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a bowl. Cover and place in the refrigerator for several hours to chill.
