What do you do with your old pair of jeans? As for me, I usually turn them into bags or hats. I give them to my friends or family, or sometimes I even sell them. But this time, I wanted to make something different. I saw this idea of repurposing old jeans into flowers from Artefacts, and I instantly fell in love with it. I have received a lot of compliments ever since I made one and placed it on my table. This is probably one of the best DIY projects I have done.

Cut 5 wires into small pieces of the same size for each flower. Tightly wrap each piece with yarn. The length depends on the size of your petals.
Get a small bottle and one of the wires. Use the bottle to form it into a circle then twist the ends. Pinch the end to form a leaf. Repeat for the remaining wires.
Cut a piece of denim from your old jeans. Glue each of the leaf parts of the wires into the denim. Do not include the stem. Once completely dried, cut them out. Bend leaves using a pen.
Cut medium-length wires. Get two pieces – cover one with green yarn, then the other with white. Roll the white just before the other end to make a swirl. Make the green wire into a leaf. Glue the leaf wire into a different color of denim and cut. Repeat for each flower.
Cut a long wire for the stem and cover it with green yarn. Glue the petals on the end of the stem. Wrap the stem with yarn covering the ends of the petals, then continue down. Insert the swirl and the petal a few inches down. Repeat for the others.
Wrap the yarn on a small rectangular piece of cardboard several times. Remove it from the cardboard, then tie it into 1/2-inch segments using a thread. Cut them in the middle of each segment to make pom poms. Glue them in the middle of the flowers.
Tie the stems together using yarn.
Place the flowers in a vase then fill it with pebbles.
