Reading before bed is one of my favorite things to do. There’s nothing like curling up with your favorite book and getting lost in another world before you end your day.
A problem I’ve had in the past is not being able to read comfortably in bed. Laying on your back makes it possible to drop your book on your face mid page. Laying on your side makes your arm fall asleep, and laying against the wall can get uncomfortable after a while.
Laura with SewVeryEasy stitches up a solution with this angled reading pillow. Not only can you customize it with any adorable fabric(s) of your choosing, but it’ll keep you upright and comfortable for as many chapters as you want! The sides of the pillow also have pockets, perfect for storing your books or journals!
For your fabric, you’ll need 5 pieces: the front 22″ x 20″, the back 20″ x 18″, bottom 20″ x 13″ and the sides 13″ x 18″ cut in half from corner to corner. You’ll also need some polyester stuffing, either from a big bag or two pillows taken apart.
Stitching this pillow together is super easy and pretty quick. You don’t even need a pattern!
