Icing:
In a medium bowl, add 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tbsp ground cinnamon. Whisk well until combined and set aside. In another bowl, combine 2 1/12 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well and set aside. In the last bowl, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/3 cup sour cream, and 1/3 cup vegetable oil. Mix, then stir in 160 ml whole milk (room temperature), 1 large egg, and 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Once done, gradually mix the dry and wet ingredients and fold them until combined.
Grease your loaf pan with oil, then pour half of the mixture. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over, leaving about 2 to 3 tablespoons for later. After this, pour the rest of the mixture into the pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top, then make a large swirl using a knife. Cover the loaf pan with aluminum foil loosely and place it in a preheated 350 degrees F oven. Bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and continue to bake for another 30 to 35 minutes. Let the bread cool down before serving.
