Do you love eating salmon? You should definitely try this new way of cooking it! This is the quick and easy salmon piccata recipe by Mr. Make It Happen that is ready in just 30 minutes. The sauce is incredibly flavorful, and the salmon is juicy. It’s very savory and not sweet! Start by seasoning both sides of your salmon with your favorite seasoning.
Place that pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the salmon and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add about 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter to pan-baste salmon.
Finish cooking the salmon in a 400F oven for about 10 minutes or until the desired doneness is achieved.
Make the sauce. Use the leftover butter in the pan to cook the shallot and garlic. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice, a quarter cup of cappers, and red pepper flakes to the sauce.
Sprinkle diced parsley, then add a half cup of white wine to deglaze the pan.
Reduce the sauce, then turn off the heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter then mix.
Pour the sauce over the cooked salmon. Serve and enjoy while warm with rice, pasta or vegetables.
