How to Fix a Loose Toilet Paper Holder

Step 1:

Remove the toiler paper holder by unscrewing the screws. Remove the old anchor. Use the drywall anchors as shown below.

If installing a new paper holder, do not use the lightweight anchors that come with the installation kit, use the one below.

Step 2:

Carefully drill the drywall anchors to the existing holes.

For the new ones, get the template from the paper holder and use it to make the holes in your drywall, then screw the drywall anchors.

Step 3:

Follow the instructions in the packaging.

How to Fix a Loose Towel Bar

Step 1:

The standard height for towel bars is 48″ or 4 ft from the floor. Adjust it to your preferred height. When you are happy with the placement, simply mark it.

Step 2:

Predrill a 1/2″ hole in your wall. Use the template to mark the holes. Make sure to level it. Drill the holes.

Step 3:

Insert the heavy-duty anchors. You need to tip it so it fits into the hole. Take the holder device and cinch it up tight. It should be a secure fastener on the front and back of the wall. Simply break the long piece off.

Step 4:

Use the screw provided by the anchor instead of the one provided by the towel rod. Install it according to the package instructions.
