Making these energy balls is incredibly easy, as it does not require any baking or cooking. Just mix everything in a bowl, chill for 30 minutes, roll them into balls, then coat them with raw oats and chocolate chips. These bites can keep you full and satisfied for a longer period. They are the best snacks to eat before exercising. The crunchy taste of the oats is perfect with the smooth texture of the peanut butter.

In a large bowl, add the peanut butter, old-fashioned oats, honey, chocolate chips, and flax seeds (if adding). Mix until well combined.
Cover the bowl with cling wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes or so, remove them from the fridge. Lightly grease your hands with butter or oil, then roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
Lay out a thin layer of oats and chocolate chips on a cutting board or work surface. Roll each ball in the mixture, then lightly roll them between your hands to pack in the oats and chocolate chips.
Place in the refrigerator until ready to be served.
