If you’ve been following my craft projects, you probably know that I love making flowers. I’ve made a variety of flowers over the past year and have realized that roses are the most popular. Some of you might think they’re hard to make because they require shaping and have many individual petals, but I’m here to prove you wrong. There are actually a ton of ways to make roses. For this project, all you need is a long strip of pink crepe paper (or any color of your choice), green crepe paper, and a skewer. No, you don’t need to cut the petals one by one, making this perfect for beginners. I had so much fun making these roses, and I absolutely love how they turned out.

If you are wondering about the paper flower bouquet arrangement, I added the paper tulips that I recently made for volume and variety. I am so proud of how these flowers turned out. I hope you enjoy making them as well. Keep reading or watch the video tutorial below for the instructions.

Creative Ideas and Variations
- Play with sizes. If you are planning to make a flower bouquet using just these roses, make them in different sizes and shades to add visual interest to your arrangement.
- Add leaves. To make them look more realistic, add leaves to the stem.
- Paint the colors. Did you know you can paint crepe paper? Yes, you can. Painting the petals is a great way to make them look more realistic. It helps you create soft gradients and mimic the natural colors of real petals.
