Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop tablespoons of Nutella and place on the prepared sheet. Make sure to space them evenly.
Preheat your oven to 350F. Get another baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. In a large bowl, add the butter and sugars. Beat until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, milk, and vanilla and mix until well combined. Next, add the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Scoop heaping tablespoons of cookie dough and press to flatten like a pancake circle.
Get the frozen Nutella pieces and place them on top of each flattened cookie dough. Bring the edges around the frozen Nutella and pinch the edges together to seal. Add more dough if needed. Do the same for the remaining cookie dough and Nutella.
Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top of each cookie. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 to 9 minutes or until puffed.
