This DIY no-sew sweater pumpkin by Julie’s Designs and Signs on YouTube is an easy Fall decor project if you’re on a budget. I am inspired to make a couple of sweater pumpkins this Fall because they are a nice way to make something inexpensive look expensive. Plus, I love the neutral, earthy colors and they are simple to make. It’s such a cozy way to display the pumpkins during the Fall season around the house. Also, it’s a good way to use up the old sweaters that you may have in your closet. There are so many DIY projects to keep up with this Fall, and this is one that is added to my list.

Materials:

  • craft pumpkins
  • knife
  • fabric scissors
  • white chalk paint
  • stem and branches
  • Fall greenery or sprays
  • sweaters
  • hot glue

Directions:

First, take your pumpkin, pull out your stem, and carve a hole in the center of the pumpkin at the top. Then, paint it white. Take your sweater and use the sleeve to measure where to cut off. Once finished, take the sweater and put it on the pumpkin. Make sure to use cable knit sweaters because they are stretchy.
