Saint Valentine’s Day is upon us again and it’s chocolate covered strawberry time. There are many varieties out there and to be honest, the store bought kind are pretty good too, but if you really want something amazing try these Marbelized White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, if wowing your Valentine is important to you, lol. When I saw this recipe on Youtube I couldn’t believe the wow factor of these strawberries and when I read the recipe I realized they were going to be delicious too. The ingerdients and instructions were super simple to follow:

Ingredients:

  • A Carton Of Strawberries
  • Sticks (Wilton Brand from Michael’s Craft Store work well)
  • Candy Melts (White)
  • Any Color Of Oil Based Candy Color
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • Cake Decorating Sanding Sugar (for glitter berries)
  • Gold Icing Dust (from cake decorating section at Michael’s Craft Store)
  • 1 Thin Brush
  • 1 tbsp Liquor (to turn icing dust into a gold paint

Directions:

Wash and dry your strawberries and insert sticks for dipping

Then you melt the Candy Melts in a microwavable bowl with a Tbsp Coconut Oil (to make it runny enough for dipping) Microwave on low till fully melted and stir. Add your first color across the top in small streaks then lightly swirl it then start dipping your strawberries placing them on wax or parchment paper as you finish each one.

Then you mix a little of your edible gold dust with some alcohol (Brandy works well, but any will do) and trace around your swirls with a thin brush
