Every once in a while all of us seamstresses are rushing through a simple project and we get stopped in our tracks by a piece of thick fabric that our machine refuses to go through. One of these clever ideas that Sewveryeasy comes up with is to strip the sandpaper off of a padded nail file and wedge it just under the back of your foot before you get to the bump in the hem.
