Attractive wall art makes any home look fantastic and this extraordinary piece can be made from simply from cardboard and straws. I recently made dreams come true by moving into a new apartment, I had worked hard to get there and suffered a lot. The initial move-in was quite expensive and took most of my savings, but I got in happily and safely. Now that I was sitting in a big beautiful place, I realized I was in need of some furniture, rugs and some nice art for my bare walls. I am on a budget now so I went scouring the interweb for some DIY amazing looking Wall Art I could easily make for little money. I hit the jackpot when I found this DIY Foil And Straw Wall Art project on Youtube. The instructions were so easy and simple, I decided to give it a go. First I drew circles on cardboard and cut them out. Then I used my hot glue gun to attach the straws in a circular pattern around the cardboard.

I can’t even describe the feeling of satisfaction I got as this awesome, easy, and beautiful project was coming together. After I glued all the straws down on both tiers, I spray painted it silver. I used a wonderful Krylon 22 Karat Spray, that really looked lush. Then I cut some foil squares and shaped them into petals to make the roses for the center of my DIY Straw Wall Art.

Then I just hot glued a string on the back to function as a holder and put it on the main wall in my dining room. This piece looked totally Mid Century when I put it up with my other 60s pieces, it looks amazing. I recommend this project 100 percent!
