If you’ve got holes in your clothes and you don’t know know how to fix them, then you are in luck because this video tutorial by تعلم حرفة_Learning a craft on YouTube will teach how to do it easily! What I love the most about using this technique is that you won’t even notice the stitching and it’s as if the hole were never even there, to begin with. Mostly, you’ll use a blind stitch in this tutorial, so if you don’t know how to do that yet, and you want to learn, then click here to read this simple tutorial.
How to Blind Stitch
#1: Repairing Holes in Pants
To repair holes in your pants, start by trimming the sides of the hole to make a square, then cut a piece of fabric from the inside of the pocket, and use a blind stitch to sew the edges together. Once you’ve sewed two edges following an “L” pattern, push the needle to the other edge diagonally, then start stitching again from that corner as shown in the video, and make sure to trim the fabric piece before stitching so its the same size as the hole. Turn the pants inside out, then press the stitching flatly, and fuse a piece of fusible interfacing using an iron.

#2: Repairing Holes in Shirts
Find a color of thread that is similar to your shirt, then use a blind stitch to sew the edges of the hole together, and make sure to push the fabric and frayed edges inside every now and then as shown in the video. Once done sewing, turn the shirt inside out, then give it a good press, cut a piece of fusible interfacing, and press it on top of the stitching.
#3: Repairing Holes in Shoes
Just the same as the previous techniques shown in pants and shirt repairing, start by using a blind stitch to sew the edges of the hole together until it closes, then once done stitching, find a piece of fabric or use interfacing, and cut a small piece. Insert it into the shoes and place it right at the back of the stitched hole, then sew it to the shoes nicely, and you’re done!
