Pineapples are one of my very favorite fruits, and it is also really healthy. Pineapples contain an enzyme called Bromelain that really helps digest food and some say helps dissolve fat. All and all, pineapple is hands down one of the most refreshing fruits around and tastes delicious in fruit salad and smoothies. Lately, I really have been wanting to grow my own food, so when I found this awesome video tutorial by California Gardening, on YouTube, describing how to grow your own pineapple plant using the top of a store-bought pineapple. All you have to do is to cut the pineapple top off,  then you put it in a glass of water, in the sunlight for a few days, and let it root.

Materials For Regrowing Pineapple In Containers:

  • A pineapple
  • A knife
  • A glass or jar
  • Water
  • A plant container
  • Soil

Directions:

In this awesome video tutorial by California Gardening, on YouTube, you will learn how to grow a beautiful pineapple plant using the top of a store-bought pineapple. You begin by, cutting the top off of the pineapple and then you put it in a glass of water, in the sunlight for a few days, and let it root.
