How to Open a Stubborn Jar Lid Easily

Have you ever experienced having a hard time opening a glass jar? Well, you’re not the only one because I, also encounter the same problems even today! There are a lot of tips and methods that you can try to learn online to make things easier for you, but one trick that I find most practical and easiest among the rest is this one by Smart Fox on YouTube. It doesn’t require any tool or other materials because you can just hold on to the glass jar and open it as is without having to use too much force and effort. All you’ve got to do is to make sure that the suction or vacuum effect that seals the lid is released so that you can easily twist the jar open.

Grab the jar, then slightly tilt and angle the top on the table, and start hitting it on the surface several times while slowly rotating the glass jar. Make sure that all sides are banged to the table to release the vacuum seal effect on the lid, then simply twist it open, and you’re done. Another method that you can also try is by hitting the sides of the lid with a heavy-handled utensil such as a spoon, make sure to hit it all the way around until releases, then twist it open easily. Another way that you can try is by slipping a butter knife underneath the lid, then slowly pushing it upward until you hear the suction release, and then twisting the lid open.
