Easy Paper Flowers Materials
- 8.5 x 30 cm rectangle paper
- scissors
- glue
- marker
- stick
- 5 x 23 cm green rectangle paper
How to Make a Paper Flower
Step 1:
Fold the rectangle paper in half lengthwise.
Step 2:
On the folded side, make thin strips just like in the photo below. Make sure not to cut all the way through.
Step 3:
Open it and apply glue to the uncut long side on the back. Gently fold it in half to glue the two long sides together. Make sure not to press on the folded side.
Step 4:
Repeat steps 1 to 3 to two more times to make 3 pieces. These will be the petals of the flower.
Step 5:
Hold the marker and wrap one petal around the end, adding glue to the bottom edge to keep it in place. Once you are at the end, get another layer of petals, glue it to the first one, and wrap it again.
Step 6:
Using a slender stick, push the petals down to make the flower bloom. Remove from the pen. Get a slender object with a round flat bottom and use it to press the center of the flower.
Step 7:
Take a stick and wrap another layer of petals around. This time do not fold the petals down. Insert on the first round of petals.
Step 8:
Take the stick and wrap the green paper around it to make a hollow stick. Glue it in place.
Step 9:
Make leaves and glue on the green stick. Glue the stem to the flower.
