One of my favorite methods of quilting is the quilting-as-you-go method. When I found this quilt-as-you-go video tutorial by Teresa Down Under on YouTube, I was so excited about these new blocks I could add to my repertoire. With this wonderful quilting technique, you are able to quilt, sash, and bind a project at the same time. I love this method of quilting because it really makes your project move along quickly. Using this quilt as you go method has been extremely liberating for me. I used to spend hours at the sewing machine doing all my quilting steps separately and quilting projects were really taking a very long time to finish. With the quilt-as-you-go method, I can finish projects in one evening. I may still make quilts in the traditional method, but for now, I’m sticking with this easy all in one method of quilting.
