This DIY Jello Playdoh by BeforeandAfterTV on YouTube would be a great project to do with your kids during the holidays and they make great stocking stuffer ideas. It’s a fun and easy craft during COVID-19 for at-home activities to keep the children entertained too. This Playdoh would smell amazing because it has the fruity smells from the Jell-O, and there’s no cooking required. It’s a 5-minute recipe, and the elasticity from the jello in the Play-Doh should last a long time. The Jell-O brings out a nice and vibrant color to the Play-Doh. You can store each of the Play-Doh in plastic bags in the fridge.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 packages different colors ‘no sugar added’ Jell-o
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 tbsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Directions:

First, add the flour, salt, and cream of tartar into each bowl. Take the packages of jello, and dump them individually into a measuring cup.

Overall, I think this is a great idea to make at home, and I would’ve never thought about making Play-Doh out of Jell-O. The ingredients in this Play-Doh recipe only requires a few ingredients that you might already have in your pantry too. I love Play-Doh and I can only imagine the fruit smells from the Play-Doh once all of the colors are mixed together. This is interesting because a lot of people like Play-Doh, and making it yourself at home makes this a great gift idea.
