This mochi ice cream looks so delicious, and most people would think these delicious looking bonbons would be super difficult to make, but they are surprisingly simple. When I saw this terrific recipe by Joshua Weissman on Youtube, I knew I had to make this immediately. These lovely mochi morsels can be stored in the freezer and are great for small snacks. Mochi balls also make a very impressive dessert at a dinner party. These mochi bonbon balls look like you bought them in a high-end specialty shop, but they are super quick and easy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sweet glutinous rice flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup corn starch (for dusting the ice cream)
  • Ice cream (flavors of your choice, any ice cream will work)
  • An egg cartin
