When I saw this awesome video by Fix This Build That on Youtube, I knew that this modern desk is exactly what my husband needed for his real estate office. He is new to real estate and we just managed to get the back room cleared tp make a small office that he could work out of. I wanted the decor for his new office to be very modern and sleek looking and this awesome desk by Fix This Build That was just the ticket.

- Minwax Polyurethane
- Lincoln 210 MP Welder
- Wireless charging pad
- Miter saw stand
- Flip to tool stand
- Clear Epoxy
- Ridgid 18V router
- Ridgid 18V grinder
- Circular saw track
- Copper Bow Tie
- Wood (for the top of the desk)
- Metal tube (for the desk legs)
Directions:
This is a wonderful project by Build This Fix That, and a complete joy to watch even if you don’t make the desk. My favorite part was when the copper inlays were done.
Near the end of the tutorial, the Youtuber cuts a groove for his wireless charging bay and glues it securely in with a construction grade hot glue gun. I was thinking that this method could also be used on an existing desk if you were not wanting to make one from scratch.
This is a lovely project from start t finish, I really hope my husband shares my vision about how phenomenal this desk is going to look in his office.
