It’s very stylish and you can also use any fabric that you want to match your set of clothes, and you can even customize it so you can give it as a gift to a loved one. I’m sure that you can sew this perfectly even on your first try. Learn how now by watching the video tutorial below.
Step 1
Cut the fabrics to size, then fold the outer fabric in half, and draw the pattern as shown in the video. Cut it out, then use this to cut out the shape of the lining fabric, and stack them together with their right sides facing making sure to smooth them out.
Step 2
Stitch them together along the U shape in the center, then fold the fabric so the outer layers’ right sides are together same with the lining layers, and then stitch them on the top and sides. Readjust them so that the right sides of the outer bottom and lining bottom are together as shown in the video.
Step 3
Clip or pin the edges securely, then stitch them together with ⅜”seam allowance and leave an opening. Turn it right side out, then tuck the edges of the opening, and stitch it close. Lastly, topstitch all the way around the edges of the scarf and the hood itself.
