Halloween is approaching us soon, and there are many people who have set up their Halloween decor. It can get expensive overtime if you’re a person who likes to buy new decoration every year. However, there are DIYs that can help save those bucks. Christopher Hiedeman Halloween mirror tutorial on YouTube shows how to take an old picture frame and turn it into an eerie mirror for a Halloween decor inside your home. Materials:

  • black construction paper
  • pencil
  • scissors

  • small rocks
  • mirror effect paint
  • rag

Directions:

First, sketch out and trace Halloween designs such as skulls and hands onto black construction paper. Cut out those pieces to use for later. Then, to create a more spooky effect with the hand cut outs, bend the fingers slightly.

Next, remove the glass from the picture frame, and place the cut outs onto the glass.  Add small rocks onto the cut outs as weights to keep them in place. Spray the mirror effect paint onto and around the cut outs. Use a rag to blot around the glass to add texture. Overall, I think this would be a neat DIY project to work on if you’re on a budget. This is super budget friendly, and you can find old picture frames at thrift stores or Dollar Tree. There’s not many materials needed to purchase for this Halloween decor, and most of things required are super cheap. I love the look of this Halloween mirror, and it adds a nice touch to add on shelves, mantles, and walls.
