Bubble quilt is the best blanket in my opinion as it is so comfortable, fluffy, and warm! This is also a great gift idea to kids and loved ones, plus they are also very simple and easy to make that you’d love to try and sew a variety of this. You don’t even have to worry about being a beginner in sewing because Shabby Fabrics on YouTube made it easier for you to follow. So if you want to try and make your own bubble quilt fabric today, grab your scrap fabrics and basic sewing tools, then let us start quilting.
Step 1
Prepare scrap fabrics and square them equally, just make sure that the back fabric is half an inch shorter than the front. Sew around the paired fabrics with a quarter-inch seam allowance, but only sew the bottom and the sides, and leave the top part open. As you sew along the square, make sure to pinch and fold the center of each side to create a pleat.

Step 2
Once you’re done sewing all pieces, arrange them however you want and you can also decide how many rows you want them to have, depending on how many pieces you’ve made. Insert polyester fiber filling on each piece through the hole/ space allotted, then close the gap and sew it straight without making a pleat. Lastly, sew them together on each of their sides.
