Place a 1-inch joining strip at the front of the quilted block, then place a 1¾-inch joining strip folded in half to the back, and sew them with an exact ¾-inch seam allowance. Press the joining strip at the front up from the seam, then lay the other quilt on top with their right sides facing, and make sure that the edge of the quilt and the joining strip are matching. Press them open, and the edges at the back should meet nicely, now press up the joining strip at the back until the seam is covered with it. Dab glue along the edges, then iron it in place until completely set, and lastly, topstitch near the edge of the joining strip.
