Are you like who hates folding fitted sheets? Then, this tutorial from How to Get Your Shit Together on Youtube is perfect for you. I used to struggle a lot with folding elastic sheets, that’s why I constantly just dump them into the drawers. But my life changed when I came across this tutorial. I didn’t learn just one way how to fold a fitted sheet, but three! My life become so much easier, and I don’t hate folding fitted sheets as I used to. So if you’re also struggling with this, check out the video tutorial below.
Lay the fitted sheet down flat with the elasticated side facing up. Next, fold the sides in to make a nice straight edge, then fold it like a regular sheet.

Place your left hand inside a corner (so the seams are facing up), and run your right hand along the inside edge until it’s in another corner. Now, bring your hands together. With your left hand, pinch the corner that’s on the right hand so the two corners stay together, then flip your right hand over your left. Shake it out a little bit. After this, transfer the corners to your right hand, and using your left hand, slide it along until the other two corners are on your left hand. Line them up together. Repeating the first motion, bring your hands together, pinch at the corners with your left hand, and flip your right hand over. Shake it, lay it flat, then fold in the elasticated sides.
Hold the sheet on either side so it looks like a hammock, then flip it forward to lay it down flat. Now, fold in the sides so that they’re perpendicular to the top edge, then fold down from the elastic.
