First, figure out where the separation and broken zipper becomes nonfunctional. Decrease the gaping between the top and the bottom board using a plier. Close the gap carefully by pressing down on both sides.

Overall, this is a great life hack because it’s useful whenever you get a loose zipper instead of throwing out anything that has a zipper problem. I would get frustrated all the time when the zipper would separate and split because I would add more force onto the zipper to try to fix it.
