Have you ever wondered if there’s an easy way to devein shrimp? It is safe to eat, but some people prefer to remove the black line since it is the digestive tract. If you are wondering if it’s poop, yes, it is, and it can be bitter sometimes. I used to cut the top part just to remove the dark-colored vein, which can be time-consuming. If you do the same thing, as I usually do, try this different technique. You’ll never go back to the old method for sure.

Carefully push the toothpick upwards and you’ll be able to get the vein out.
Using your hands, gently pull all the vein out. Repeat all the steps with the remaining shrimp.
