The step is pretty straightforward, all you need to do it to throw the steel wool sponge into the drum of your washing machine, then add in a few tablespoons of baking soda along with it. Close the door of your machine, then set it to a high temperature, preferably 90 degrees, and run it as usual. After about 15 minutes, remove the steel wool from the drum, then close the door, and continue the cycle until it finishes.
